In this paper we reflect on our beginnings as an extensionist group at the National University of Jujuy. We expose how, after participating in a university extension event based on a logic of transfer and not of exchange, we decided to create a project with which to overcome this rationale from a critical extensionist perspective. Identifying reflexivity as that bridge that would allow us to cross the distances between each of our researches and the field of extension: (1) we present the collective and institutional process we followed to launch "Myth-Busting: Bringing social sciences research closer to secondary schools in San Salvador de Jujuy", (2) we contrast the experiences we had in the classrooms of three educational centers, and (3) we evaluate the achievements and limitations of that which was our first joint extension proposal.
