University professional practices constitute academic and practical training activities, which involve a strong interaction of the academic scenario and actors with others out-side the institution, especially with the spheres of the world of work, production and services. In this sense, it is increasingly relevant to know their scope and formats, as al-ternative spaces for the construction/communication of knowledge and interaction be-tween the university and its social environment. This article seeks to analyze the config-uration of the so-called "professional practices" in the curricular structure of a public university in Argentina: the Universidad Nacional General San Martín (UNSAM). Ap-proaching this institution as a case study, the paper will proceed by implementing a se-ries of institutional indicators of knowledge circulation derived from the so-called "Cuyo Manual", for which several normative documents and institutional databases have been surveyed.
On this basis, it is concluded that UNSAM has deployed a broad sense of academic knowledge circulation by configuring an inclusive formative space in its curriculum, where specific knowledge of its disciplines and academic units is promoted, but in com-plement with practical activities deployed in professional contexts of the social envi-ronment.
