Abstract

Contributions are presented for reflection on the articulations between Human Rights (HR), Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE), and university extension. Additionally, we share the extension proposal allowing for the CSE to be approached from an HR perspective and interweave initial and continuous teacher training from the interaction and joint work between college students and practicing geography teachers in secondary schools. This proposal is part of the institutional mechanism of Service Learning Extension Activities and Didactics of Geography, a course of the Humanities and Sciences School at the National University of the Littoral. This article includes references to education and HR relationships, focusing on higher education and the role of extension. Then, we discuss the connections between CSE and the HR perspective. Finally, we share the proposal for the inclusion of extension in the curricula around CSE developed in 2022 and 2023.
